Cascade Clamps - Cascade Manufacturing Company was established in Portland, Oregon in the year 1943. They started out as a small machine shop at first hiring 4 people. Sales for their first year of operation amounted to about sixty thousand dollars. The first recorded sales revenues involved the assembly and machining of stainless-steel pipe fittings, valves and various components. During 5 years of operation, the company had expanded to forty staff and their annual sales volume had risen to $330,000. Nowadays, Cascade is among the leading worldwide makers within the material handling business.

Design and manufacturing of the company's very first hydraulic cylinder allowed this new company to aggressively pursue better business possibilities. All through the final 60 years, the industry of material handling has grown into a very advanced area with Cascade proudly playing a part in its development. Cascade currently continues to develop as the premier supplier of lift truck accessories and numerous associated products. In the 1950's, Cascade began designing, fabricating and selling hydraulic accessories. The company has expanded its production plants within the U.S. with locations in Warner Robins, Georgia, Portland, Oregon and Springfield, Ohio. Cascade products are made worldwide because of a lot of subsidiary operations.
